Windlehill Farm is a 10 acre organic farm set in quiet countryside between
Ashbourne and Derby in the UK.Our family have been living at Windlehill
Farm since the late 1800's although there has been a farm on the site
since at least the sixteenth century. Parts of the current farm buildings
date from the early nineteenth century through to the 1930's.
Registered with the Organic Farmers and Growers Association, we keep
traditional and rare breeds of livestock. including pure breed Poll Dorset
Sheep, Kerry Cattle and Araucana hens. We also keep and breed pedigree
beagles which have been succesfully shown throughout the UK.
The Accommodation includes:
The Hay Loft is a first floor apartment over the old
stable and is approached by the original internal stone steps. It was
once the loft storing food for the farm Shire Horses and gives excellent
views over the farm and countryside.

The Chop House was once the farm corn shed where the
animal feed was once chopped and mixed. It features original beams and
pleasant views over the farmyard, pond and surrounding countryside.
It provides accommodation for up to 6 people. It has:
3 bedrooms - 1 double/twin and 2 twin bathroom with bath / shower additional
separate toilet
fully equipped kitchen / dining room including microwave, oven, fridge
freezer and washer dryer
comfortable sitting room with colour
television, video player and radio / CD player / DVD player
sheltered, well fenced garden with table and seats
