The farm is set in the Peak District National Park, nestling between
the magnificent valleys of the River Dovedale and the Manifold. We are
surrounded by National Trust land that has outstanding natural beauty
for stunning walks straight from the doorstep. Here you will find a 16
th Century Farm House with four uniquely renovated holiday cottages. Each
one has its individual character and these are reflected in their names
Reuben's Roost, Bremen's Barn, Hope's Hideaway and Purdy's Place.
Our cottages have been completely renovated to a very high standard using
original materials and local craftsmanship. They offer impressive holiday
accommodation in their quality of fitting and furnishings. The properties
are grade 2 listed and retain many of the original features such as beams
and stonework sometimes lost in renovation. These have been complemented
by selective use of antiques, furnishings and modern day appliances. This
quality is reflected in the statement "of exceptional standard" when awarded
with 4 stars by the English Tourist Board.
