Farm Shop - Tea Room - Pick Your Own - Hadrians Wall

Brocksbushes has evolved over the last 25 years from an acre of soft fruit with a tiny farm shop which was open for 8 weeks in the year to a thriving rural Retail Centre with an award winning Farm Shop, Tea Room, Pick Your Own and Garden/Gift Centre which is open all year round.

The Farm is famous for its 'pick your own' strawberry and raspberry fields, its asparagus fields and an award winning farm shop and tea room.

On the farm we have approx 35 acres of soft fruit, and 5 acres of vegetables which enables us to provide fresh fruit and vegetables for picking from the middle of June through till the end of October.

The fundamental policy of Brocksbushes is to provide freshness, quality and choice in every department and to give our customers a pleasurable day out whether they are selecting their groceries from our varied and delicious selection in the shop, treating themselves in the Tea Room, picking their fresh fruit and vegetables in the fields, or choosing the plants for their gardens, they all are a part of the 'Brocksbushes Experience'!

Location and surroundings

Situated next to the Shop overlooking part of the 'pick your own' area. After browsing around the shop, enjoy some refreshments in the relaxed surroundings. There is an excellent range of delicious homemade cakes, scones, quiches, savoury pies, soup and tempting desserts, all produced in our own Kitchen.

Licensed

The Tea Room is licensed and we serve a variety of beers and wines.

We have a menu to suit everyone's needs from morning coffee and afternoon tea to home cooked lunches ranging from a simple sandwich to a daily 'Specials Board'.

Spacious

There is seating inside for up to 75 people and all sizes of parties can be catered for. In the Spring and Summer there is also extensive seating outside the conservatory, overlooking the fruit plantations and herbaceous borders.

Disabled facilities are also available including wheelchair access with parking adjacent to the Farm Shop.
