Easingwold Golf Club is half a mile from the market town of Easingwold, on the Stillington Road, looking across fields to the village of Crayke and the foothills of the North York Moors. This fantastic golf Yorkshire was founded in 1930 by a small group of dedicated local golfers.

A modest nine hole course was constructed which met the needs of the golfing fraternity of the area, but as the game became increasingly popular, additional land was obtained and an 18 hole course was duly opened in 1976. Facetiously described by some as 'Easy Easingwold' though not by the serious and discerning golfer; it is a well set wooded and scenic course but with more than its share of difficulties for the wayward player.

John Hughes has been the Resident Professional at Easingwold Golf Club for over twenty five years. Utilising the splendid practice area and driving range at the club, he has a reputation as a golf coach which is second to none. John also runs a well stocked shop offering a wide range of equipment and clothing to suit all tastes and requirements.

Located in a quiet, rural setting, in yorkshire well away from any major roads, the course provides a calm and peaceful environment where birdsong and abundant wildlife may be enjoyed – as well as a satisfying game of golf. Many lovely mature trees, an attractive water feature, and a couple of becks that thread their way through the southern part of the course, combine to create a scenic golf course with interesting natural hazards. Whilst the Howardian Hills rise close by to the north, the course itself is at the northern edge of the Vale of York and is relatively flat.

The lounge bar offers a comprehensive range of beers, wines and spirits. It is an ideal place in which to relax in comfort and discuss the round.

The restaurant has a wide choice of menus catering for club functions and for visitors. Buffets, Carveries, and set meals can be arranged for large parties.
