Whether you want to spend time on board leisurely exploring over 310
miles of waterways, or would prefer a holiday home set in idyllic surroundings,
we can provide it. Norfolk is an amazing county with a greater diversity
of scenery than any other lowland region.
The Broads themselves are surrounded by historic towns, buildings and
ruins, many of which are within walking distance of mooring points along
the rivers. Created from flooded peat diggings this area really is a haven
of tranquillity. Famous for it’s wildlife, the broads, rivers and their
flood plains form a unique habitat unlike anything else in Britain. As
you meander past traditional thatched cottages, windmills and church towers
the scenery changes from open meadowland to reed lined river-banks to
wooded areas and you may be lucky enough to see a kingfisher or even an
otter. You can even cruise to Norwich, the region’s vibrant main city,
or Great Yarmouth a fun filled seaside resort.
Our fleet of cruisers cater for every size of party, from 2 - 12, with
comfortable cabins, fully equipped galleys and stylish saloons. Our holiday
homes are in unique waterside locations and give you the opportunity to
explore the waterways with day launches and river trips available. Why
not take advantage of the network of bike hire points located close to
moorings, or take the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the
300km of footpaths through some of the area’s most attractive landscapes.
And children need never get bored with the array of wildlife to watch,
many ducks and geese to feed and fascinating places to visit. If you fancy
trying your hand at fishing you’ll be pleased to know that fishing is
allowed on the Broads with a valid fishing license during the open season.
(Closed season 15th March - 15th June inclusive).
