to you, our guests. We strive to ensure you feel the Ravensworth is an
extension of your home and many of our guests refer to us as their "home
from home".
Set in the beautiful scenery of the Lake District, Keswick is one of
the area's busiest and most vibrant towns. Whether you want to explore
the lakes and fells, discover the history of the region, or just sit back
and enjoy the wealth of art and culture that the Lake Distict has to offer,
Keswick has something for everyone.
Surely the aspect of Keswick that arrests the attention of most visitors
is its surroundings. The town is set on the shores of Lake Derwentwater,
overlooked by fells on all sides. The most relaxing way to appreciate
the stunning views is to have a trip on the Keswick Launch, which takes
you on a 50 minute tour of this beautiful lake. For the more adventurous,
the valley of Borrowdale is just a stone's throw away, and is a heaven
for climbers and walkers.
We can offer packed lunches and flask hire for your day out. We can also
book theatre trips and restaurants. If you are planning a special occasion,
we can arrange flowers, chocolates, champagne etc upon arrival or during
your stay with us.
We are extremely passionate about the food that we purchase and serve.
All meat is supplied by local suppliers and is locally reared.
Our free
range eggs and milk are delivered directly to us from a local farm.
