The Black Swan Inn which is a traditional 17th Century Cumbrian Inn with Oak beams, an open fire for winter and a peaceful garden for summer. Culgaith is a friendly village in the heart of the Eden valley and is situated 1 mile off the A66 between the ancient market towns of Appleby and Penrith. Close to the river eden (famous for its fishing) We provide:good food including our traditional Sunday Lunch real ale en suite accommodation. There are numerous activities to occupy your stay. These include shooting, fishing, boating, golf, walking, swimming, cycling or train spotting (steam).
