You'll be wild about Combe Martin Park. Set within twenty five acres
of stunning countryside of North Devon, The Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur
Park is a unique theme park experience. Life size animated dinosaurs roar
and spit as they did millions of years ago, and genuine dinosaur eggs
can be seen in the museum. Thrill to rides such as Into The Light and
Earthquake, or see Shaun Ellis the world famous wolf man during the daily
talks and howling shows. If you're more "hands on", why not Swim with
the Sealions in their purpose built pool or attend one the daily handling
sessions. Beautiful gardens and magnificent birds of prey round off the
perfect day out.
Within this natural setting on the edge of stunning Exmoor you can see
over 250 species of plants and animals including Great Pines, Sub-tropical
Gardens and Bamboo, and experience some breathtaking views that will leave
you feeling inspired.
Local companies built T-Rex, Megalosaurus, and Dilophosaurus to the park's
specifications using the latest animatronic technology. They are all computer
driven, although T-Rex is run by hydraulics, and Dilophosaurus and Megalosaurus
are run by pneumatics: high-pressured air.
